A space for vulnerability, clarity and alignment.
Hi. My name is Mackenzie, and I am here to share my story; to be vulnerable. I have recently learned that vulnerability is a bridge to building connection, and I am starting this blog to connect with you- you: the mama who has found herself (and then, maybe lost herself) in motherhood; the person who is feeling trapped; the person who is starting over; the person who wants to start over, but doesn't know where to begin; the person who simply is; whoever you are- you are welcome here. Hi.
Let me begin by introducing you to the surface of who I am today:
I am a 33-year-old mom of three (ages 8, 4, and 2). I am separated from their fathers, yes, both of them. We will get into that later.
A few years ago, my life began to implode, and I have been rebuilding it with just a pocketful of pennies and a dream. I now own two businesses; Mackenzie Jo Photo and Mackenzie Jo Fitness Co. This blog is the beginning of my newest adventure into wellness coaching, and I am so glad to have you here.

I am here to consistently remind you that whatever you are going through, whatever you have gone through, it isn't for nothing.
Here, we are going to let vulnerability inspire us. We are inspired to breathe in our discomfort, to uncover the most authentic version of who we are. We are not afraid, and if we are, we will do it scared.
What is coming to the blog?
My goal is simply to create a healing space. I have no real plan, but here is my thought: you can always expect real life stories, details on how I navigate(d) through them, and encouragement to share your stories and connect with myself/each other in this community.
Some topics to watch for: motherhood, co-parenting, entrepreneurship, relationships (intimate, and not), fitness, mental health, and more.
Quote for the day:
"Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we'll ever do." - Brene Brown, The Gifts of Imperfection
I will always follow you! Whether you have a plan or just a vision! 💜
Love this; and love you! I love this concept of vulnerability being the bridge to building connection! 🩷
